Course structure 

After finishing this course You will:

Know general philosophy of dangerous goods transportation;

Understand limitations in air transport;

Be aware of “List of Dangerous Goods”;

Identify the hazard and handling labels and marking applicable to dangerous goods;

Recognize undeclared Dangerous Goods;

Know storage and loading procedures for transportation of Dangerous Goods;

Be familiar with of Pilots’ notification when Dangerous Goods are carried on an aircraft;

Understand the special provisions for passengers and crew;

Apply the appropriate emergency procedures and understand the requirement to report incidents and accidents.

Dangerous good training program meets all the requirements of IATA dangerous 

good transportation rules (chapter 1.5) and is regularly updated.


Duration & examination 

Initial dangerous good training course lasts from 8 to 32 hours.

Repeated dangerous good training course lasts from 5 to 8 hours.


In order to make sure the main objectives of the course the students must perform 

a written or computer based test. Test must be passed with at least 80% of correct answers.
